Fact
Absorbent hygiene products maker Nobel Hygiene has filed its DRHP with SEBI, comprising a fresh issue of up to ₹150 Cr and an OFS of up to 1.55 Cr shares led by largest shareholder Quadria Capital, per Entrackr. Proceeds will repay borrowings, invest in subsidiary Nobel Hygiene Baroda, and expand its Halol facility with a new adult-diaper line. The company, which owns brands Friends, Teddyy, B-Fit, Snuggy and RIO across 1,158+ SKUs, posted FY26 revenue of ₹846.75 Cr (+14.6%), EBITDA of ₹84.76 Cr (+29.3%), and profit of ₹18.91 Cr, up sharply from ₹22.8 lakh in FY25.
Interpretation
Profit jumping from near-zero to ₹18.91 Cr in a single year, right as the company files its DRHP, is the kind of clean pre-IPO inflection that draws scrutiny, investors will want to know how much came from operating leverage versus one-time items.
Action
